android intent DATE_CHANGED fired at wrong time, why?

i am working with android DATE_CHANGED intent, also I have registered this broadcast in menifest file. But i am so strange to know that android fired this intent at 12:00 pm instead of 12:00 am, it seems impossible, how is it possible to get notify our receiver at correct time i.e 12:00 am
