Must Activity Recognition be actively running to receive activity updates? For example, can Android launch my app when say, DRIVING is detected, or must the application already be active?
My app's purpose is to sent a potentially life-saving alert once a certain movement has begun, but we can't rely on the user having to start the app every time they climb into the car. Thoughts?
